An NYSE listed organization that publishes one of the world's most trusted business and financial news and information. Its flagship publication is one of the world's leading business publications with its circulation in millions! Since April 2004, Client had engaged Udirect to increase the market penetration of their subscription base in Malaysia for one of its most respected magazine.
Client had decided to offer a one time only promotion to new subscribers of a popular business magazine. However, although the marketing materials had been prepared, there simple were not enough prospects to send it to. Purchasing a new database was not viable because this was to be a one time only promotion.
To make it more challenging, by the time Client approached Udirect, there was only 6 days left in the timeline to execute this campaign which includes the time needed for the mailing to reach prospects.
Client chose to take a Corporate Database Loan (CDL) package from Udirect to provide targeted names that meet the exact requirements of the company. Client then engaged Udirect to execute the rest of the campaign including delivery of campaign materials.
Client was able to enhance the cost effectiveness of this campaign by 60% by taking up the CDL package, as compared to purchasing a database from any other sources. On top of that, Udirect successfully delivered the campaign to prospects within 5 business days which greatly exceeded Client’s expectation. This was possible because Udirect did not need to engage a third party to execute since it is a one-stop database marketing solutions provider that is able to complete the database marketing campaign from providing targeted data to delivering campaign materials to prospects.
